Law Firm Linton Kennegård AB's privacy policy according to GDPR/Data Protection Regulation

At Law Firm Linton Kennegård AB (the firm), personal data such as names, addresses, email addresses, personal identification numbers/designation numbers and similar client information is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU) to conduct mandatory conflict checks and to handle, execute and administer received assignments/cases and thereby safeguard our clients' interests. Personal data may appear in court and authority documents but is also collected for accounting and billing purposes. (Data may be disclosed/communicated to authorities and courts to safeguard client interests)

The personal data is stored in accordance with the obligation incumbent upon Law Firm Linton Kennegård AB under the guiding rules for good legal practice, for a period of ten years from the date of completion of the case, or for the longer period required by the nature of the case.

The processing of personal data is based on the fact that the processing is necessary to fulfill an agreement between the client and Law Firm Linton Kennegård AB (Article 6 b GDPR), that the processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation incumbent upon Law Firm Linton Kennegård AB (Article 6 c GDPR) or that the processing is necessary to perform tasks of public interest (Article 6 e GDPR).

You have the right to request information from the law firm free of charge about the use of personal data concerning you. At your request or on our own initiative, we will correct or delete incorrect data or restrict the processing of such data. You also have the right to request that your data not be processed for direct marketing purposes. You also have the right to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format (or, if technically possible, to have the data transferred to a third party you designate). If you are dissatisfied with our processing, you can submit a complaint to a supervisory authority, which in Sweden is the Data Protection Authority (www.datainspektionen.se). You can also contact the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.
